Blue Nile + Julep

Note: This is not a sponsored post. I just went to an event that I loved, and want to share the details!

A few weeks ago I got to go to the best event ever with some of the best gals ever. Blue Nile & Julep hosted an event full of diamond education, manis and pedis, and even some engagement rings to try on! I learned so much about the 4 Cs, which matters most (hint: it depends on your personal preference), and how different jewelers work. I loved learning that Blue Nile customer service is the cornerstone of their business, and since they aren't paid on commission, they will often let you know what will, and wont, be noticeable to the naked eye as far as clarity and color, for example.

And of course, I cleaned my engagement ring the night before, so I got to try on lots of super-sparkly rings but still got to go home with the one I love the most - my aquamarine dream ring. I haven't picked out my wedding band yet, but I have a feeling I'll be doing some shopping with Blue Nile when the time comes.

They had a sapphire engagement ring on display, and it was my favorite. I guess I have a thing for blue gemstones!

Lindsay (from Lindsay Living) and I trying on some bling. Notice the nail color change from my first photo? They had the Julep manicure team on-site to make our nails extra-pretty before trying on all of the rings. I'm wearing Josephine, and I loved it so much I have already worn it two other times (they included it in a little gift bag at the end of the night, which was so sweet!).

Getting educated on Blue Nile. Also - for those of you in Seattle, this event was at the most amazing event space up on Capitol Hill called Sole Repair. I highly recommend checking it out if you are in the market for a beautifully lit, artfully decorated event space.

This outfit, and all details, can be seen here. And don't forget to come back on Thursday to link up your Fall Favorite
