Insert Statement Here

I thought it only appropriate to post an outfit with a giant floral necklace on the day I'm announcing the winner of a more classy floral necklace. Kim Pincombe Cole, you've won the gold necklace from Nordstrom! Check your email for details. I'll be announcing the final winner on Monday, so make sure you come check to see if you've won the wine bottle candle!

I went through a phase where every outfit had a giant statement necklace. And then I went through a (thankfully short) phase where I couldn't stand even a simple, dainty necklace. And now I'm in the best place, right in the middle, where I pick my necklaces based on my outfit, my mood, and my other accessories. Why I ever left this place of happy mediums, I'll never know.

Shirt: Le Tote
Skirt: Nordstrom
Necklace: Gift, (similar)

I know I've talked about Le Tote a couple of times, but I just wanted to once again rave about their Netflix-like service. In case you haven't heard of it, here's how it works: you heart items on the site you love, you pay a flat monthly fee, and then they send you a curated 5-item tote. You can keep it as long as you want, or send it back as fast as you want, and then you get another tote. You don't have to wait until next month, it just comes. Mine are typically 3 items of clothing and two accessories, and that is the perfect blend. Just be careful and make sure you send all 5 items back - otherwise, they assume you want to keep (& purchase) the pieces you kept. That being said, if you really love an item, keep it! The price is discounted because you're a member, and you can wear it over and over and over again. I did that with my striped tank and I'm so glad I did. I may do it with this shirt too; we'll see. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments - I'm not being paid for this post, or my opinions, although if you do sign up using this link, I will receive a credit to my account for future totes.
