Since I got home, Seattle has had been in the middle of June-uary. Some days are 55 and rainy, others are 75 and sunny, and others are 60, cloudy, and unbearably muggy. It makes it difficult to dress each morning, and you'd think I'd be used to it after living here my whole life, but I still get so frustrated with our January-like weather in June. Layers are key, and also knowing that everyone else is going through the same thing. On any given day last week, I'd see a woman in a sundress and sandals sitting next to a woman in a dress with tights, boots, a cardigan, a scarf, and a raincoat.

Anyway, my favorite way to get through it is to wear pants and then a looser, lighter weight top with a cardigan for the cooler mornings. This top has loose cap sleeves which are actually flattering (unlike most cap sleeves on me) and make it perfectly okay for me to go without my cardigan in the office. Definitely makes this time of year easier!

Pants: H&M
Shirt: LOFT (old, similar)
Cardigan: Target (similar)
Flats: Steve Madden

But now we are finally in July, which means we'll have 4 days of rain and our summer will start promptly on July 5, ensuring we have a rainy fourth of July, as always. Pretty frustrating, but typical. We'll be avoiding that and heading back over to Lake Chelan!
