On Thursday of last week I went to a Diane von Furstenberg event after work, and since I knew I likely wouldn't get a chance to change after work, I needed to wear something that I felt super comfortable in, but that was a little more unique than a normal work outfit. And while 90% of the girls at the event were wearing dresses and heels, I am so glad I wore what I did. I felt so very me in this sherbet tweed blazer from Rag & Bone paired with some skinny jeans and some new Dolce Vita ankle strap flats I got from OnlineShoes.com. I did end up switching out my watch & necklace before the event, simply because the necklace I wanted was misplaced in the morning...but I found it in my car as I left to go to the event!

Shoes: Dolce Vita
Jeans: LOFT
Tank: BP
Blazer: Rag & Bone (similar)

Here are some shots from the event. They styled us β€” we all tried on some of the famous wrap dresses in different styles and patterns, which was super fun. I now know why Fran raves about hers so much. We also got to sip some champagne, nibble on some macarons, and of course pose for the photo booth!

My co-worker Anna came along!

I think that these kinds of events are one of my favorite things about having a blog. I love the community that has been created for me and the friends that have come from meeting other bloggers. I hope that my work schedule eases up a bit so that I can continue to attend more like this!
