Third Thursday Threads: Remix

Welcome to Third Thursday Threads: Remix!

I rewear things all the time on this blog, but I rarely put items next to each other to show you the different ways in which I've worn an item. I recently bought myself the perfect black work dress (I had one that was totally beat up & ruined, so I deemed it ready to be replaced), but when I was buying the dress, I was thinking about all the ways I could wear it. It has a conservative enough high front and comes almost to my knees, but it has form-fitting piping that makes it just a little bit sexy. Enough to dress up for a night out, at least.

Here's how I wore this LOFT dress

Casual, winter look: For this look, I threw on a black boyfriend cardigan, a cozy scarf, some tights, and my riding boots. I love mixing neutrals, and all bundled up like this I could easily run errands, go have lunch with a friend, or head to work on a more casual day.
Cardigan: LOFT
Boots: Sam Edelman
Scarf: BP

Work look: Can't beat a nude blazer and matching pumps for a classic work look. Throw on some simple gold accessories, a pale lip gloss, and I'm good to go.
Blazer: BP (similar)
Pumps: Target
Necklace: Hand-me-down from Grandma

Night out look: Throwing a sweater or sweatshirt over a dress is one of my favorite things. Add booties, and you've got my favorite outfit combination, as of late. Topped off with some layered necklaces (this is three different necklaces), some M.A.C. lipstick, and pull some hair back...I'm ready to head out on a date with Trav!
Sweater: J. Crew
Booties: Hinge

So that's it! An amazing LOFT LBD worn three ways:

Now it's your turn! The link up will be active for a week, and if you follow these four little guidelines, you'll be good to go:

3. Please leave a comment! I want to hear your challenges and successes with remixing pieces. Any tips to share? That's the place to do it!
4. Please visit the other blogs that are linking up. This is a great way to get inspiration from other great bloggers!
