Guest Post: Rae Everyday

Hi everyone!  My name is Kelsey and I blog over at RaeEveryday, but today Bri has so generously accepted my offer to guest post for her, so here I am.  I consider my blog to be a lifestyle blog, which means I post about a variety of happenings in my life usually relating to developing my personal style, recipes I’m cooking, crafts I’m making and books I’ve recently read.  Currently I’m in somewhat of a knitting obsession and am training for my second half marathon so make sure to check it out if you’re interested.

When I started to think about what I was going to write about in this guest post, I wanted to make sure the content was relevant to Bri and her blog.  The only problem with that is I’m a recent college graduate and have not found a job in my field yet so I’m working as a waitress right now which doesn’t make for very exciting work clothes.  Then one Sunday while I was watching the NFL and scrolling through my Instagram, the connection I was looking for came to me, Russell Wilson.  (For those of you who don’t know Russell Wilson, he is the quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, Bri’s hometown team, and former quarterback for the Wisconsin Badgers, my alma mater.)

I decided to come up with an outfit inspired by Russell Wilson and the colors of the Seattle Seahawks and Wisconsin Badgers.  I wanted to incorporate the navy and gray of the Seahawks jersey, as well as the red and white of the Badgers, and this is what I came up with.

The outfit still seemed a little bit simple, and since I was already heading on the more casual route, I decided to throw in some of the neon yellow as well.

Are there any other big football fans out there?  Let us know who your favorite team and players are to cheer for!
