It's a Rare Find at Forever21 Kind of Day

When I was younger I spent a lot of time at Forever21. It opened and it was new and it always had the cheapest way to stay on-trend. As I've gotten older, my spending there has dropped tremendously. My style has become more consistent, my need to follow everytrendrightnow has faded, and quality trumps quantity. But once in a while, I find an item at Forever21 that looks like it should be from somewhere else. Something that appears to be well-made. A piece of clothing that can have some lasting power in my closet.

This shirt is one of those rare finds. And so while I intend to cut back drastically on purchases this month after my month without shopping, I had to pick up this gorgeous teal lace tee with buttons down the back (which I sadly didn't capture in any of the pictures) and a scalloped hem.

And I'm so glad I did, because I am in love with it!

This weekend I'm taking it easy—catching up on sleep and cleaning before heading out to Vegas on Monday for another work trip.
Anything fun going on in your neck of the woods??

Update: I somehow forgot to mention that I'm wearing white pants after Labor Day. You noticed, right? And you're okay with it? Well in the morning while riding my favorite bus ever (sarcasm) a drunk man (yes, I said morning and drunk: classy fella) loudly addressed me:
Drunk: You're wearing white pants. After Labor Day.
Me: Yes, yes I am.
Drunk (louder now): That's a fashion faux pas!!
Me: Yes, I guess it is.
How do you guys feel about white after Labor Day? As long as it is sunny, I am NOT going to stop! Even if the drunks on the bus know their fashion and call me out on it!
