As you know, I spend a lot of time flying around the Northwest for work. And I get tired of it, for sure. But one thing I never tire of is the view from the airplane window as I fly over all of the mountains around here. I took the above picture last week while flying out of Seattle, and I just love that this is the area I get to call home.
This dress in "moondance" for a wedding I'm in this June. I haven't tried it on yet, so not sure if it is the one or not yet. If you see a gorgeous long, lilac/lavender dress out there that would be great for a summer wedding, leave me a comment!
Lipstick. And lots of it. I'm a M.A.C. girl when it comes to makeup and am lately loving my wedding Russian Red color and the deep purple-ish Rebel, both of which I got thanks to their trade-in program. If you aren't familiar with it, you take six empty makeup containers (say from powder, eye shadow, foundation, etc) and trade them in for a free lipstick. Looking forward to my next trade-in so I can pick up a coral color for my Mexico trip in April! In the photo above, which was from my early birthday dinner with my parents, I'm wearing Russian Red, which is the perfect true red!
Speaking of my early birthday dinner, that was the menu. It was a Founders of Washington Wine dinner featuring three of the first wineries in Walla Walla, Washington at a famous Seattle restaurant called Canlis. The food was incredible, the wine was amazing, and it was a great kick-off to my 30th birthday celebrations!

My actual birthday is March 5, and Travis surprised me with a trip to Canada to a place called the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for my entire birthday weekend. We once thought of it as a destination wedding location, but instead decided to stick closer to home and picked Suncadia, where people only had to drive 90 minutes. I'm so excited to have a full weekend (we leave early Friday and come home late Monday) in such a gorgeous location and I'm even more excited to wear nothing but our SOREL boots for four days.
In other "love" news, check out this weather we've been having in Seattle lately. Yesterday we walked ~7 miles around town, totally exhausting the pup and building up a great appetite for ourselves, which we quickly took care of in a phenomenal dinner at Brimmer & Heeltap. This little family photo courtesy of my amazing cousin who is in town visiting from NYC.
