Vancouver Outfit Lust

Touring around a city - even my own - is one of my favorite ways to spend a weekend. Last weekend we headed up to Vancouver for a weekend of wine and hockey and fun. Here's what I wore for the drive up on Friday afternoon:

These olive skinnies from Old Navy have quickly become a favorite of mine - they are SO SOFT. I know a bunch of you have them too in different colors, but I never realized how soft a pair of skinnies could be. They feel comfortable and luxurious and cost me less than $15. You really can't beat that.

Being in a bigger, more posh city really made me want to shop. We stopped by Nordstrom to pick up a pair of shoes for Trav (he forgot his at home and only had sneakers) and just looking at everyone else in there made me want to buy a whole new wardrobe. The shoes and coats and purses were all just gorgeous. I didn't think I liked saddle bags, but seeing them there, I now want one. And I swear - leather jackets everywhere, layered with cute scarves, gloves, and the most stylish sneakers. My favorite item, though, has to be the long open duster cardigan. Or coatigan. Or whatever we're calling them nowadays. Again, I've never wanted one, but that's all I can think about now!

Don't forget to start thinking about what you want to link up with next Thursday! Just 9 days to go!
