As promised, each day this week we'll go through a different part of our wedding. I really meant to do all of this sooner, but...better late than never, right? :)
My parents rented a house that all us girls used to get ready, and then all the boys got ready in the honeymoon suite. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves - the room looked brand new when Travis and I got there that night.
Each of the girls picked out their own gold dress - I loved the way the whole look came together. Hanger is from etsy, of course.
Having my mom and sis zip me into my dress was so special. The hair clip is this one, and the earrings were custom, borrowed from our jeweler.
The jeweler where we got our rings was nice enough to loan me some incredible jewelry for the wedding. Check out all this bling and those gorgeous tri-color pearls!! If you're local to Seattle, you've gotta make a visit to Menashe in West Seattle!!
The shoes were from Nordstrom - such a good find as I wanted gold and sparkly without paying insane prices. They were pretty tall, but also really comfortable, thanks to a few weeks of breaking them in around the house in socks!
Travis and the guys wore basic black suits with white shirts and a gray cardigan. We lucked out finding awesome cardigans at UNIQLO - and they are opening a store in the Seattle area soon, which I couldn't be happier about!
I really loved the time with the girls in the morning getting ready, and I know Trav had a blast with his friends too. They went on the indoor waterslides in the morning since they didn't need as much time as us ladies to get ready - so much fun! It was great having a husband-wife photographer team (all photos courtesy of them), as they were able to split up and spend time with each of us.
Come back tomorrow to check out our first look and some of the other pictures we took before the ceremony! And let me know in the comments all week if you have questions about any details I've left out!
