Scary-close to having final drawings from the architect on the big addition. Next step: bids from contractors. I've been asking all of my co-workers and neighbors if they have referrals, and I know this very easily could be the toughest part of the process for me. Our last project went pretty severely over budget, and I don't want that to happen on this one. Next week we'll visit a couple of banks to learn more about our financing options for the project, too. So far, we're on track to get started next February on the actual construction!
Trav bought me a bike! He's had one for a couple of years and I've been wanting one to ride with him ever since. We finally decided it was a good time to do it and today we're going on our first big bike ride together. I seriously cannot wait!
I had a quick work trip down to Portland last week, where I tried a kimono over a black shift dress. It was the PERFECT summery work outfit - professional enough for my meetings, but lightweight enough to enjoy a cocktail outside with a partner at the end of the day. And having some kind of sleeve is essential on quick, cold flights between Seattle and Portland.
Excessive amounts of sun tea in every flavor possible. Current favorite: green tea bags mixed with a fruity white tea bag for a little bit of a sweet twist. These mason jars spend every afternoon outside making a new batch for me to consume the following morning/day. Yum!

I finally have gotten the process moving for changing my name from Pettigrew to Clark. First stop was social security, and then last week I went to the DMV for the license change. Looks haven't changed much for the last few license photos despite a bunch of changes in between:
