Kimonos for Work

It's annoying how I can buy something, wear it for the specific occasion I bought it for, and then not know how to wear it in any other ways. This kimono is a great example: I bought it for my bachelorette weekend in Nashville and had two ways I loved it (gray tank and black skinnies or gray skinnies and a white tee) that weekend. But then I came home, and I've worn it maybe one other time. Partially because I can't figure out how to wear kimonos when it is cold out, but also because I don't know how to wear kimonos for work. But in the last two weeks, I wore it twice, so I figured it was time to show you how I've tried it - and then, as always, ask for more ideas!

Details on outfit one below. Outfit two here.

This outfit is close to how I wore it in Nashville, but instead of black jeans, I tossed on slacks and some wedges. The tassel necklace was the perfect monochrome topper to add some flare.

So how else would you wear it for work? I also want to wear it with a pair of shorts and some sneakers for an upcoming evening or weekend walk or bike ride when we ride somewhere to get dinner or lunch :)
