It isn't even officially summer yet, but it sure has felt like it lately. Travis and I have stopped using the inside kitchen almost entirely and are instead barbecuing away every night. After work we head outside with a glass of wine to enjoy on the deck, watching the chickens and the cat explore the great sunny outdoors. It really is the perfect way to end a long day inside. We have dinner, and then after cleaning up, once it cools down, we walk around the whole property watering our gardens, our tomato pots, and our herbs. Lots of outdoor time together really makes me feel alive.
Last night we had my mom over for dinner - a bbq on the deck, of course.
After wearing my fitbit most of the time, it's been nice to take it off and wear a real watch once in a while. I'm still trying out how to style the fitbit with another watch + some bracelets - we'll see if I get the hang of it. What I love about this specific (new! c/o woodwatches.com!) watch is that it is SUPER lightweight - I hardly notice I have anything on my wrist, which is such a nice treat after wearing the fitbit, which I totally notice all the time. I also love that it is such a pale neutral - I have gold watches, and silver watches, and tortoiseshell watches, but I didn't have a watch that was barely there, and this one is the PERFECT color for that. And they pre-adjusted it to fit my wrist perfectly, which doesn't hurt :)
Quick reminder: Third Thursday Threads is next week!! Wear your denim jacket this weekend and get ready to link up! Have a great one :)
